Recently, a group of farmers from Zhangjiakou visited Keroty specifically to learn about the 260 hp new-energy tractor.
The Bashang area of Zhangjiakou sits at high altitude, with large fields and plenty of slopes, so local farm machinery faces far tougher demands on power and stability than on the plains. Instead of rushing into a test drive, the visitors started in the showroom, going through the tractor's configuration, battery warranty, and after-sales service in detail.
They then climbed into the cab to get a feel for the controls. This tractor has no conventional gearbox or clutch. Behind the steering wheel sits a column shifter with three clearly marked positions — forward, neutral, and reverse — so gear changes are made without taking a hand off the wheel. Sitting in the driver's seat, the visitors tried the shifter themselves and took in the control layout and visibility. Even without starting the engine, the column shifter and clutch-free layout made an immediate impression: the machine is genuinely simple, with a low barrier to getting started.
Talking through the realities of Bashang farming — cold winters, scattered plots, and long distances between fields — our technicians explained that the hybrid drivetrain delivers dependable power, needs no dedicated charging, and works day to day just like a conventional tractor. The visitors' top concerns, cold-weather starting and spare-parts support, were each answered in turn.
From Inner Mongolia to Xinjiang, from Jiangsu to Zhangjiakou, more and more customers are making the trip to our factory. Some come for a test drive, others to check specifications or ask about after-sales support. Their priorities differ, but the thinking is the same: seeing it with your own eyes and asking your own questions is what gives you confidence.
Keroty keeps its test-drive channel for new-energy tractors open year-round. Farmers and cooperatives from every region are welcome to book a visit at any time.
