On September 29, Keroty’s production base was livelier than usual.
In the assembly workshop, the sounds of tools, commands, and cheering blended together; on the open ground in front of the testing center, forklifts shuttled back and forth; beside the fire lane, fire hoses snapped out with crisp precision. This was the venue for the 2026 Guantao County “Taoshan Cup” skills competition for employees of agricultural machinery manufacturers.
The competition was hosted by the Guantao County Federation of Trade Unions and organized by Hebei Keroty Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. It was the first employee vocational skills competition piloted by a specialized and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise in Guantao County. Sixty-one frontline employees from workshop teams across the company signed up, covering assembly, warehousing, safe production, and other positions.

Not Theory on Paper, but Real Skills from Daily Work
At the assembly skills contest, contestants worked in pairs with seamless coordination — disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling with clean, practiced movements, passing tools smoothly and getting the job done efficiently.
At the emergency-response contest for safe production, at the judge’s signal, the two members of each team divided the work and moved as one — unrolling the hose, making the connection, aiming, and hitting the target in a single fluid sequence.
At the warehousing and loading contest for safe production, contestants sounded the horn before setting off and lifted pallets with items resting steadily on all four corners. Navigating the S-shaped obstacle course, reversing back, and parking with the engine off — every step tested precision of hand.
After a full day of competition, first, second, and third prizes were awarded in each of the three events. Leaders from the County Federation of Trade Unions, the County Economic Development Zone, and the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau attended the event and presented awards to the winners.

Beyond the rankings, Keroty values what this competition delivered. It put each employee’s day-to-day operating level to the test, identified non-standard practices, and set a clear direction for future training. A group of outstanding specialists emerged, and the workforce’s drive to compare, learn, catch up, help, and excel was ignited. The skill that frontline employees build with their hands ultimately safeguards the quality of every tractor that rolls off the line. For product quality to rise, people’s skills must rise first. As a specialized and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise in Guantao County, Keroty continues to deepen its expertise in new-energy tractors. New products and new processes demand ever-higher assembly precision and safety standards, and Keroty’s approach is simple: build training into daily work, bring competitions onto the shop floor, and let frontline employees learn by doing and sharpen their skills through competition.
Learning through competition, practicing through competition, delivering through competition. Keroty will take this event as a springboard to keep raising the skill level of its frontline workforce — turning skill into tangible product quality.
