Right now, autumn land preparation is in full swing across Heilongjiang. From October 12 to 16, a rigorous real-world trial is underway in the fields of the Huayi Agricultural Machinery Cooperative in Shuangcheng District, Harbin.
The event — "On-Field Verification Trials for Hybrid Tractors of 200 hp and Above," hosted by the Agricultural Machinery Testing and Appraisal Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs — is being held here under the theme "Hybrid Power Showdown Across the Fields." Several Chinese-built high-horsepower hybrid tractors are undergoing field testing side by side, with three core metrics — working efficiency, fuel economy, and overall machine reliability — judged entirely by real soil and actual working data.
Hebei Keroty Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. has brought its KGB3204(F) new-energy tractor to the event, where it is plowing hard in open fields alongside the competition.
Keroty's test unit runs on 320 hp hybrid power. The electric drivetrain simplifies the component layout, the engine is decoupled from ground speed, and continuously variable operation makes driving effortless. The tractor pairs with all kinds of heavy implements and genuinely cuts operating costs. Before this trial, the model had already logged nearly 10,000 hours of field verification across major production regions including Xinjiang, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Gansu — delivering 15%–30% higher overall working efficiency, fuel savings of ≥40% at equal efficiency, and an 80% lower failure rate. At today's diesel prices, the fuel you save is real, bankable profit.
